Originally, Basil was not one of the most well-known herb inside the bunch. Basically there were some who just hated it, mainly the ancient individuals. The name basil means “be fragrant” but still different cultures battled having a love hate relationship over basil. Americans and Romans loved it while Hindus plant it in their homes as a sign of happiness.
